NHS Holds Induction Ceremony

Gordon Central High School's National Honor Society held its 2017 Induction Ceremony on Tuesday, April 11. That day, 40 (forty) distinguished students pledged to uphold the highest purposes of the National Honor Society. The ceremony included guest speaker Stacy Long, a Gordon Central Class of 2000 graduate and the Voluntary Action Center's Executive Director. Ms. Stacy Long presented a speech about what leadership entails and how to strive to be successful by becoming passionate leaders. The ceremony was conducted by Gordon Central's National Honor Society Officers: President Ross Dixon, Vice President Katie Nemechek, Treasurer John Zapata, Secretary Kifah Rashid, and Reporter Laura Rincon.
