Gordon Central High School is excited to announce Alicen Pearson as our new volleyball coach.

Alicen Pearson's passion for volleyball began at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, GA, where she served three years on the varsity volleyball team, and her senior year as co-captain. Coach Pearson also traveled and played for Tsunami Volleyball throughout high school. Alicen went on to continue her volleyball career at Berry College in Rome, GA, as a middle hitter. In her off-season and right after college, Coach Pearson assistant coached for various aged teams through Cobb Atlanta Volleyball.  She joined the Lady Colonels coaching staff at Cass High in 2009 and was head volleyball coach four of her six years there. For the 2015 and 2016 seasons, Alicen coached in Fayette County for Sandy Creek High (alma mater) and Flat Rock Middle, prior to relocating to Gordon County.
